Three short general questions about sweating due to stress

Hmm I used to sweat (armpits) like hell in middle school. For two years, I was made fun of or pointed at by the more nasty people. I'm a guy, btw. As of now [college, 19 y.o.]... I think I sure sweat more than your average Joe, but, take away the stress and all, I wouldn't say I have hyperhydrosis, actually...
Okay never mind, just let me ask a few short ones:
1. The more hairy underarms you have, the more you sweat? Oh an I'm obviously talking about the sweating due to stress and emotion, not exercise.
2. Does shaving armpits make any sense? Does it make you feel more comfortable, sweat less or anything?
3. Does/Can your body get used to a deodorant-antiperspirant (say, an Adidas one)? Like, adjust and behave like it freaking didn't exist and didn't reduce sweating at all?

Hopefully there will be some other guy on the forum who has perhaps experienced this same condition and can answer your questions with a bit more "authority" than I can, but I'll give it a crack anyway.
There are people who simply sweat more than others. I don't know if that means something is going on with your "sweat system" or just a fact of life. I don't think the amount of hair one has in their armpits has anything to do with the amount they sweat, but I honestly don't know. We women shave our armpits primarily for social & aesthetic reasons. As for myself, I can't say with any certainty that I sweat less because I shave. And as for comfort, I don't notice any difference if I shave or go "native" out of laziness. I do use a deoderant/antipersperant which does stop the wetness and I would hope the odor.
Most of us will sweat more if we're nervous or very emotional and if I'm not mistaken (who? ME?) I think I read once that sweat produced by nervousness had a stronger odor than that produced by hard physical work. Something to do with different chemicals.............
My best suggestion is to speak to your doctor about this. If it's some sort of chemical imbalance, hopefully it can be fixed. Perhaps you need to deal with the stress in your life differently.
Well, that's about the extent of my armpit knowledge. Do hope you get some better advice.
Peace
