Tremor in my legs could this be from zoloft?

Tremor in my legs could this be from zoloft?

I have been taking zoloft for 4yrs or so, recently i increased the amount to 75mg. I take this for anxiety/panic attacks. Anyway, i have noticed like weird tremor feeling sensations in my legs, could this be due to the higher dosage? Is it serious and will it go away? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Call your doctor who prescribed your Zoloft and tell him about this.  I've never heard of the side effect, but I'm not a doctor and we all react differently to the medications.

ssris tend to affect magnesium absorption.  Usually, the side effect is muscle cramps, but it could be involved.  Ask your psychiatrist about this and you might consider supplementing with a 1:1 calcium to magnesium citrate.  It's what I've always had to do on ssris, as they all give me muscle cramps and spasms.

I am having the same problem as we speak! Sometimes I wish I could sue someone. I lost my job. I think it was due to the memory loss. I couldnt perform at my best because I kept forgetting formulas. I went for a MRI for weird "sensations" in my head. That came back clear. Months later, I increased another 25mg (was on 100 before). Now my ear wont stop raising (twitching), I have spasms in my left leg, right arm, and now over my right eye. I am starting to get the twitching thing on my left temple. It's funny.. someone mentioned loud noises as a side effect. One night, I was falling asleep, and I SWORE that it was gun shots. I jumped up.. went back to sleep.. it happened AGAIN! It has not happened ever since (thank God) but I am really sick of these medications! I was on Paxil at first. I came off of that because I was on it so long and I always hear so many  horrible things about it. I will be calling my doctor Monday morning. I cant stand the twitching. It's driving me insane!
