Ugh,

by MayMayMeemers, Nov 11, 2009 01:03PM
Chest pain or discomfort
Concern about the heart
Heart palpitation? I  feel like my heart is pounding, racing, beating fast, beating too hard, skips a beat, or feels like it stops or flops in my chest. When it feels like it skips a beat, stops, or flops, it can also produce a feeling like a tickle in my chest that makes me cough. If I takemy pulse, I notice thatmy heartbeats are unevenly spaced.

Insomnia too
Shakey (Cold?) tho it is 66 outside

As for my Metronidazole side effects this is what I have:

Decrease in Metallic Taste
Decrease in dark urine
No headaches
Constipation
Lack of hunger still (Maybe due to panic attacks)

fell asleep at 6am and woke up at 10 am
started to think about my heartbeat and it felt like it was racing out of my chest

also feel a tad itchy too but I think that would also be panic attack

could it be dehydration or is this just panic attacks?

the cheartrate makes me cough and it isnt constant..I am afraid to walk cause I don't want my heart to race uncontrollablly. =/

someone Help???

Hi

I am sorry you are so scared, have those moments myself. Do yourself a favor, try to sit still and take some deep inhalations thru your nose then blow on out through your mouth. Focus on the breakthing a bit to relax.  You are 23 yrs old & on anxiety medication so I presume you have been checked out by a MD. I dont think you are having heart issues at all....Walk and prove yourself & the anxiety wrong you can do it. You may feel uncomfortable but after it is over you will have made a big step towards facing the fear or anxiety & panic. Also, try not taking inventory on how you feel, when you do you are only paying attention to anxiety & feeding into it.
Best wishes to you & keep us posted as to how you are doing!

Im so sorry my dear. All you have been going through its no wonder you are a bundle of nerves. Try to be gentle on yourself. A nice cup of herbal tea, those breathing exercises i told you about great & some yoga or meditation. Stay away from sugar & caffeine bc you do need some sleep. Be Well!

I have felt the same way you do. It happens when I get highly anxious. You need to go see your dr. tell him/her that the STD med made you sick, and have them change that, that may clear up some of the bad feelings. Mention these symtoms to your Dr., he may put you temporarily on anti-anxiety meds. But if you are able to mentally calm yourself down, wrap yourself up in a blanket, relax and watch TV, then I wouldnt suggest the meds. But you still need to take something for the STD, and I think a lot of the symptoms you mentioned could be related to the STD itself or the medication side effects.
Hope this help, let us know how it works out, you will be fine.
