No, Ultram is used for pain control.  If you were prescribed it for anxiety or depression, I would question that.

ALSO......BE VERRRRRY CAREFUL....Ultram is very addictive and will produce nasty withdrawals upon d/c-ing the med.  It has been presented as a very safe alternative to narcotics for pain control, but people are struggling something terrible with this medication.  There is actually talk or re-classifying it as a controlled substance (which personally I hope they DO!)
