Very Dry Mouth

would anxiety cause constant (day and night) dry mouth lasting for over a week?
no matter how much water i drink my mouth never seems to get better !

yea it does i been having this for since nov when my symtoms (symptoms) came since i been having anxiety i have white coating tongue to from dry mouth

This is completely normal..at least that's what my doctor told me. People sometimes feel that they have to drink water to soothe anxiety but it doesn't really help much. Just feels like it will. Knowing that this is caused by anxiety has really helped me out. It helps me to drink sugary fluids instead of water because sugar is a "feel good" food. Try drinking some blue Kool Aid or something like that.

very common. it will leave at some point once your body is relaxed. there is a toothpast you can buy... i got it last year... and it actually helps you salivate... its for people with dry mouth and who are sensitive to fluoride in toothpaste. (i think it's fluoride... or something in the toothpaste that can give people canker soars).

so yeah, it's just a symptom of anxiety. =)
