Waking up with horrible anxiety for about 2 1/2 weeks

So i fall asleep just fine. I dont really have any issues falling asleep but no matter what time i go to bed I wake up between 7:30am and 8am like clockwork with an anxiety attack. Its been like this sine september 6th. Does anyone else have this problem? Its really frustrating and no matter what I do I wake up with it.

There could be many reasons this is happening.  The most far out one is that your anxiety is being triggered by a past life event. Something happened in a past life at the same age that your anxiety started in this one.  You can have a past life regression done to see if this is the case. Certain kind of energy healers can also address this problem.

Then there are the more common responses which I will leave to others that read your post.

Most people have those kind of attacks when falling asleep.  The time that it is happening to you is better if you think about it.  Just go to sleep every night at 11:00 and wake up at 7:00.  Try it for a week or so and see what happens.

I just went and read some of your other postings and it seems like you are really struggling right now. There are alternative therapies for anxiety, it is just not easy to find them.  New age stores have free newsletters that are filled with advertisers of different alternative modalities. You have traditional options as well as alternative.  Look to both and don't give up.

I agree that you should try adjusting your sleep schedule to see if that helps.  I also think it might be a good idea to go your dr for a physical and full bloowork up.  Sometimes when your levels are off you can have anxiety issues.  Are you getting help from your dr with the addiction?  I don't think this is something you should be trying to deal with on your own.  That is something else that might be adding to you anxiety.  I really think you need a dr's guidance with this.

Since you are going through such a hard time right now I think that seeing a psychatrist might be a good idea for you.  A psychatrist will teach you different techniques for dealing with the anxiety.

You can also try keeping a journal.  I do and sometimes it is a really great release for me.  I try not to go back and read what I wrote because I feel like once I have it out on paper I don't ever want to see it again.

Also please make sure you are eating right and getting enough exercise.

Did something happen to you around the time that these anxiety attacks starting waking you up.  I am just wondering if you are holding onto something and not even know it.  Maybe it was something that happened when you were younger that all of a sudden is starting to bother you again.  Getting to the bottom of this is something a psychatrist can help you with.

Feel better.....

i try to have a normal sleep schedule but i work in the restaurant industry so its tough. i havent been eating right lately..ive barely been able to eat at all for the past month. im constantly feeling nauseous or having horrible stomach aches with no appetite. i have to force feed myself sometimes. im seeing a drug rehab today about the xanax and then seeing a psychiatrist after that. i was on incredibly low doses of xanax so im not sure if thats actually the problem or not. i went to bed at 2am last night, i had to work late, and again i woke up at 7:45. i took a benadryl but only dozed until about 11:45...didnt actually sleep well. so we'll see what the drs say today.

Not sure what others said, but I notice I wake up around that time no matter what too! Yes I have anxiety, so my internal harmony is off, otherwise I might beable to sleep more and tend to the needs of my body. But my solution, and suggestion is to go to bed early! Aim for 9pm, or 10 every night, and if you wake up at 730 you'll be well rested, and the anxiety may very well go away. But it is likely that you are worrying about something in your life, and once you adress that and eleviate it, you will feel well! Take care~
