When Panic Becomes obvious

I was wondering if anyone else had this. Just a sudden, out of nowhere realization of what was causing your panic. This doesnt STOP panic, of course, panic being panic. But it just happened to me so I got curious.

In this instance, there was a horrible band of red lightning death (I like NOAA. It presents information in the form of bands of red horrible.) going over me, and i was scared. Id never been scared of lighting before i moved here..and suddenly it "struck" me (I'm never going to make that joke again.) That before and during rianstorms, I get migraines. I knew this of course. But for some reason, it took all this time for me to realize "Oh, hey, maybe the loud thunder startles and the panic are maskiing the fact that the same things that cause vertigo and migraines are happening now."

And then I felt like an idiot for a while before realizing it was good that i EVER noticed, since, you know, panic.

Anyone else have similar symptoms? Forgive any odd replies or lack of replies or something. My head really hurts because I grew up in a desert and now im in "What the hell kind of enviornment is this? What, is that RAIN? Who has RAIN?" Kentucky.

Also, id like if everyone started using the "wishidfiguredthatoutsooner" tag. Im not going to be proposing anything so silly after my headache goes away, so, just putting it out there while im still delirious.
