Why am I being scammed for extra meds that I do not want?
My doctor is forcing me to take blood tests for high cholesterol so I can keep taking Celexa. He keeps charging me on office visits or blood tests that I can't afford.
I don't understand this at all.
An antidepressant has nothing to do with your cholesterol levels.
(With the exception that your depression is DUE to having high cholesterol)
Time to find a new doctor for the infamous second opinion.
Please keep in mind that no doctor can "force" you to take any kind of test you don't want to.
Ask someone you trust for a referral to a doctor THEY trust.
