Wildeyed and Sleepless

I have been on Zoloft for 4 weeks and cant sleep. My Dr increased the dosage to 150mgs and it has not helped. I stay up all night, and when I go to the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror, my pupils are dilated. Is this normal? Told my Dr I was going to stop taking it and she insist I stay on it. She says Im being childish and that I need to take Seroquel at night to sleep, and to take the Zoloft in the mornings. I am sick of taking anymore pills!

At four weeks, you're probably still feeling the side effects of Zoloft. I have been taking it at a very low dose for a few weeks now, and I am still having trouble sleeping. But I've been on Zoloft before, and I know it will get better. I recommend that you keep taking it for at least a couple more weeks and see if it gets better for you, too. Good luck!

Try taking the Seroquel for just a few nights.  You can do better if you just get your rest caught up.
