Will Anxiety go away permanently??

by playkid, Feb 16, 2009 01:02AM
Hi guys!

First of all let me say that I feel good already just by having a community just like this!

Now here are my questions,

1.If you get your first Panic attack, will it start keep coming for the rest of your life?
2.Once you get your first one, are you stuck with it?
3.Does everbody have anxiety in them and it's just a matter of something triggering it to become more alive?
4.Caffeine and Lack of sleep is what causing my Panic attacks /Anxiety. If I stop drinking Caffeine
and get better sleep will I still experience Panic attacks / Anxiety?
5.I just experienced my 4th Panic attacks due to caffeine, will it be easy to get rid of my anxiety?

Please reply to me.. I will keep on checking this thread, I am so scared
Thanks Guys

Alright let me see if I can help and try to answer your questions. No I don't believe you are stuck with panic attacks for the rest of your life meds can help therapy can help it's all about learning to control them and yourself and get over your worries that are causing them. It will take time I have not suceeded yet. You will probably always remember the way your first one felt but you don't have to be stuck with it. Yes I believe everyone is capable of having uncontrolable anxiety. Everyone does have some form because sometimes it is healthy for those risky situations. Caffenine I think can definitely not help your panic attacks because it is a stimulate and raises your awareness to things. Also alot of people here have benefited from cutting caffenine out of there life's. Good luck

Hi, i know that i USED to LOVE & DRINK coffee every morning, sometimes in the evening for like 5yrs,also i drink ALOT of soda....then i started to have panic & anxiety attacks after i traumatic incident...since January i suffered with this<also refused to take any meds! I relized that when i would have coffee it would come full blast so i stopped & it didn't stop...but after much time i figured that the cup didn't just leave my system in minutes or hours but days...so i stopped all together & for about 3 weeks now I've been really good =) i don't want to get to excited to soon, i also found that i can control what happens to me & it was very hard, but i hope that it doesn't come back. But i do still drink soda =(

I wish you all the best in what ever works for you =)

To be honest, it's all in your head.

Whenever I feel an attack will come in, I just tell my self, It's all in my head and nothing will happen to me. Boom, it's gone. Just make sure your mind can take over your body.

I didn't take any medications. Just Chamomille tea and stopped drinking coffee. I drink Soda, Hot Chocolate, French Vanilla still but not coffee
