Sorry about the mole entry. I was answering on the wrong forum.
however...i am freaking out that the doctor said i have a stomach virus. i would have never come to that conclusion but now im panicking and thinking i may have it. i shouldve stayed home and dealt with the cramps. i wouldve been better off.
Exactly! My period cramps were unreal as I got older. In my thirties they got unbearable. Now at 34 I am very very happy to be period free. lol But you are young and need an answer. I do know that some people can have them really bad. A friend I worked with had to take two days off every time she got her period. She would have cramps so bad she would get sick. They put her on a pill that ended up helping.
lol i didnt get the mole thing either.
my aunt just had ovarian cysts removed. and its was a quick surgery..laproscopic and she didnt even have to stay in the hospital. she was done in like 7 hours. i dont think its my cyst returning because i was in such bad pain i passed out in the er. i just need to figure out why my cramps were so severe. and actually have a doctor that knows what theyre doing.
moles???
Erin when I was I think 15 I had a very large cyst taken off my right ovary it was just suppose to be laprascopy but the doctors had ignored my pain complaints for so long that it grew massive and the surgery was emergency. I ended up with a full bikini line incision and they did the best to save my ovary. I was young and scared. But really it was not that bad at all. You sleep alot afterwards. Chances are you can have it out with just the three small incisions so it might even be a day surgery. But no speculation right! Hoping that the doc just thinks it was a cramping related to your period and can give some ideas to help that.
I can't think of a drugstore remedy. Getting rid of them is a job for
f a dermatologist. You had best get rid of them because, if I remember correctly, moles give rise to yet more moles.
thinking of you erin and hope you feel better tomorrow and all the news is good and there is a magic cramp pill and all will be well :) i'm having to hang in my happy place to try to not get completely caught up in anticipatory anxiety. Whatever happens, we will handle it!! right! right? RIGHT! lol
i dont know why she would have thought flu. she asked if i was having diarrhea with the cramps and i said no...just the cramps. i would have rather her tell me she doesnt know. dont just make something up. that really offended me. like im too stupid to know whats going on with my body.
im sorry about the surgeons. thats so awful. if i have an ovarian cyst that came back and is whats causing the cramps i'll need to have it surgically removed and that scares me.
Sorry you had to deal with that Erin. She shouldnt have passed it off as just the flu from listening to your bowel sounds. I have had many a horrible ER visit. It really made me mistrust doctors alot and I am just now slightly gaining trust back. I am very glad you have an appt with your OB/GYN tomorrow. Hopefully she will take things alittle more serious and ensure you dont have a cyst etc. Oh the horror stories I could tell of my many doctor mess ups.
The worst part is that you have to pay. I think being Canadian it never sinks in that others have to pay for healthcare so I can imagine the frustration is much worse.
Relax and have a bath and try to relax. You are being seen tomorrow so try not to worry or get anxious over it. Just let the whole experience go and talk to your doc tomorrow.
You have every right to be agitated. I know the feeling, especially when I let someone operate on me three times and am now waiting for a surgeon that actually knows what they are doing to maybe fix the huge mess the surgeon made. Ugh I could vent for hours.
Feel better hun. Make sure you update tomorrow
