Xanax to Klopolin What to expect?

Is it hard to go from xanax to klonopin?  Cant see anywhere how to and will I sleep any better.  Last night i had such a bad night i only slept maybe 4-5 broken up hours. Dont want to take sleep meds either.  Im taking .25 mg xanax 4 times a day and its starting to have feeling of tolerance.  Please Help!!!

Hi Amber,

I have seen quite a few posts on this site indicating the difference between the two benzos and also the advice that you should slowing taper down during the transistion between the switch.  Klonopin has a longer life than the Xanax and should give you longer anxiety relief.  It does take some time to stabalize in your system to get the full effect.  

I would take a look at some of the great advice on the other posts and also talk to your doctor.
