I have been taking 200mg (2 x 100mg) tablets every day for the last 2 years. I have gone from taking 2 pills a nite to none.. (stopped taking pills). I am feeling Light headed (duisy) feeling like im going to faint. Is this normal? Will this go away soon? or should i slowly come off zoloft?

I am getting into gym hard out and feeling good physically, just the light headedness is getting to me.

It has been 5 days since i have taken any zoloft.

Please get back to me guys :)

cj is absolutely right, all these should be slowly tapered off of.  On the other hand, if all you're suffering is light-headedness, you're actually doing very well, and it may be you're nearly home free already.  Hard to say, but don't worry, that's a very common withdrawal symptom, but one of the mildest.  It's your choice now whether to be safer than sorrier, but again, you're really doing quite well.  Try taking fish oil; it might help with the light-headedness.

Did you not taper off of the medication?  If you didn't, then you are putting yourself through something that you do not have to go through in my opinion.  When I came off of Zoloft, I did a very slow taper under the advice of my doctor which helped with withdrawals tremendously.  What has your doctor told you about coming off of this?  Keep us posted!
