I have been on Zoloft for 4.5 weeks... I have some weird things going on in my body.. I dont know if it is from the Zoloft or if it is just me being sick..
My symptoms are:
dizzy/lightheaded, nausea, frequent stool, shakiness, trembling, night sweatsSweat electrolytes test Sweat test Sweating Sweating - absent, sore muscles/joints, headache,..
anyone have any comments or your encounter with Zoloft?
I have not taken Zoloft, but it seems to me that you are either not getting any benefit from it, or it is enhancing your symptoms. There are times when a medication doesn't produce the desired effects. I suggest you talking to your doctor about prescribing a different SSRI which will give you the right results. best to you!
I agree with suzi-q. Although, zoloft is abosuletly wonderful for me, each person is different and you have to search out the right med for your chemical imbalance. Now I was on effexor for about 8 weeks and nearly went insane - it magnfied my symptoms 200000 fold! But, it is great for some others.
Obviously, the zoloft is not working for you and you need to go back to your doc ASAP and tell them this so they can change the med.
Best of luck; it's very hard to find the right med and hopefully the next med will work for you.
You sound like you are having a LOT of the same symptoms I did on Zoloft. SSRI's aren't for everyone. Any other symptoms you can mention (head quoookiness, head electrical surges or anything of that sort)? I am on a Benzo. alone, and for now it is doing great. I just hope it stays that way!!
