I'm sorry you're struggling with this!
I'm on day 80 of zoloft, and day 16 of my most recent increase. I can tell you my anxiety is always at its highest first thing in the morning. I don't know if it's because my meds are at their lowest levels (I take AM with breakfast) or if I don't have my mental armor in place yet.
I got some great encouragement from people on this forum to remember that this is a tough time of year - lots of us have experienced a spike in anxiety. I can also share that it's taken me about 2 weeks to turn a corner on side effects with my latest zoloft increase. Even now, I just realized my "amp'd" feeling I woke with is gone.
The constant refrain I hear from other posters is just hang in there with the side effects. Of course, don't hesitate to contact your pharmacist, as birdie0907 suggested, or your doctor about concerns or questions you have.
And be kind to yourself - even with meds, we're going to experience good days and bad days - just like anyone else. Have some eggnog, enjoy your daughter and her Christmas joy, and take some time for YOU.
Hang in there!
Your pharmacist can give you the best advice because they deal with so many people on the med.
