Zoloft vs. Effexor

I currently take 200mg of zoloft...for anxiety and my Dr. increased my dose from 150mg to 200mg after, my husband (bipolar with psychotic tendencies) was shot by the police 7 months ago, when he went off his meds while on a business trip.  I listened on the phone and heard the entire event.  
I was assulted by him, 6 months before this "epiodes" so I'm dealing with PTSD, as well.
Prior to that our marriage and financial situation was in turmoil.  He hasn't had a job in the past 2 years.  
I am safe and he is safe.  He is in Oklahoma, our hometown and I am in Texas, with my cat, where we lived and I work.
I work "full-time" as a flight attendant, so I'm traveling quite a bit and my schedule varies from day to day, week to week.  
Usually 3-4 days out of the week I work.  I spend about 2-3 nights away from home.  I have been doing this for the past 12 years, so I am very used to sleeping somewhere other than my own bed.
I am lucky, I can rearrange my schedule for the most part, when I need time for my emotional distress.  However I have missed quite a bit of work with this situation.
We've been seperated for over a year, but no divorce yet, since he's been in hospital for the last 9 of 12 months.  
He is on my insurance and I see no reason to "pull" that from him immedietly, since he definetly needs the healthcare.
I see a therapist weekly.  I've been taking the zoloft, 200mg since February 2008, when the shooting occured.  Prior to that event I was taking 150mg for anxiety and slight depression.  Prior to him attacking me in Aug of 2007 I was taking 100mg/daily for anxiety.  
I have some side effects, excessive night sweats, and excessive sweating during the day time, too.  By excessive, I mean my sheets are soaked nightly, and my deoderant does not keep my armpits dry.  I switched to the Degree Clinical Strength and its still not working.  I sweat excessivly 24-7.  
Also, I am have been having sexual side effects, I cannot reach an orgasm.  
I just kind of feel numb to pretty much everything.  
I have zero energy, and unfortunately have been sleeping between 10-13 hours a day.  I try to make it to the gym, to exercise, but only make it about 2 or 3 times a week.
My therapist recommended I ask my MD to switch to effexor.  She says it may give me more energy.  
I feel like the zoloft is making me lathargic and I want something to make me feel better, and help me obtain energy.  
I take B-12, C, folic acid, fish oil, and a multi-vitamin.  
I just want to know if the effexor is a good option for me... I need something that doesn't take all my energy.  With everything going on, I just don't have that much energy left.  
I've always been active and enjoyed life.  I participate in committees at work, and social events around town.  
I just don't have the energy anymore.  I wake up, have my coffee, read email, and want to go back to bed for the rest of the day.  
I'm wondering if the zoloft is making me tired or is it my stressful situation?  Is there a medication out there that will not make me so lethargic that I can't make it though the day without a nap?
