aches and pains

got some kind of something the docs called a virus. I was sick for eleven days. In them days my liver levels all raised real high found out my spleen was large not by much. I was so afraid there was something more wrong with me I went to a bigger hospital er. They couldn't find anything either. They also found benign something or other on my lungs. It has been 1 months 1/2 and they found a lump in my breast I just wanted it out benign thank goodness but still kept me in extreme anxiety state. Now I have aches and pains all over my whole body and the fear of having Cancer is just killing me itself .. I am 43 people say perimentiposal. I am just wonder about the aches and pains all over my back my neck my hips my chest. This has been going on for a month in a 1/2 now and the more I think about it the worst it gets. My hip does really hurt before all this came in to play doc says Bursitis and I don't know I think to myself what if it is something worse. I am on 150 Welbutrin a day and have been for almost 6 weeks and in the morning wake up with terrible thoughts. I have my whole entire life since the age of 10 have had anxiety just these days it is so much worse. Please let me know if anyone else has these aches and pains. Significant to mention I quit smoking cold turkey when I got sick in November, I dont know if this can make me feel this way or not. I just need it to end. I also work for a general surgeon and go to school I am only taking prerec classes right now. I also recieved the flu shot a week before I got sick in nov and a swine flu 2 days before. Thank you so much.

Also discuss with your psychiatrist the possibility wellbutrin is causing the increased anxiety.  It's usually used as a primary treatment for depression because it can be stimulating and aggravate anxiety.  Have no idea if this is happening or why you're on it, but it's something to inquire about.

The clue there was what you wrote at the very end..... that you had both the swine flu jab and the normal sessional flu jab a week before this all started.  Even though the jabs you are given are not live viruses they can cause the body to react and develop the flu.  When you went off to the doc and they dignosed you with an enlarged sleen and raised liver levels this may of been because of your body fighting off both the viruses and your body was having to work hard to do this, which caused the reaction.  You have to realise it can take 6 weeks or longer in some people to fully recover from even the flu jabs.... this mainly happens if you were run down or depleated of vitamins and or minerals, which is ironic because these jabs are mean't to protect those who have a weakened immune system in the first place.

I have known plenty of people who have had the swine flu jab and have become very poorly and had to take time off work and stay in bed for a week or two.  My own father had both the swine flu jab and the normal sessional flu jab on the same day and really regreted it, he became very poorly and suffered badly with his chest.. he swears he will never have them again and yet he has had the normal sessional flu jab every year for the last 10years.  So all i can gather is that it must of been the swine flu jab.  This may be because our bodies have no immunity to this virus whether live or inactive and so is making people very ill.

You should start to feel better soon.  Although i personally would go back and demand further tests done... good-luck and all the best

I think you have so many issues going on that the best thing you could do for yourself in get back with your doctor and go over these problems and quesitons with him/her. I am not qualified to tell you what may or may not be going on with you physically, but you obviously have a great deal of anxiety. An in-depth discussion with you doctor and a referral to a good therapist is my best advice.
