am i allergic to zanax?

I have been taking anxiety meds lexipro and zanax.  I stopped taking the lexipro because i thought i was becoming allergic to one of these meds.  After stopping this lexipro for several weeks my rash went away.  I recently have still been taking the zanax only when needed.  Last night i took 0.5mg of zanax and the rash came back!  The rash looks like pimples all over my face, neck, and chest as well as a few on my back.  I dont get pimples this severe so i am wondering if i am having a reaction to the zanax.  This rash does tend to itch but its not a severe itch.  I am looking for some suggestions. I need to get back on some kind of anxiety medicine as well to keep my panic attacks from being so severe that i need the zanax so much.  Am i allergic and do i need a new medicine?

Have you talked to your Dr. about oxazepam. That might be what you need

its probably from the Xanax, my sisters last boyfriend used to take Xanax and have the same thing happen to him..mainly on his back.

I suggest looking up Body cleanses, "Parasite cleanse, gallbladder, kidney, Candidia, all of the above"

Complete the cleasnes, usually takes about 2 weeks per cleanse, stop eating butter, and switch to Extra virgin Olive oil, or grape seed oil instead.
You can also try a method of "oil pulling" that is PROVEN to reduce pimples, anxiety, and other various health problems.

You will need sunflower oil
When you wake up in the morning before you eat or drink anything, take a tablespoon of Sunflower oil and swish it in your mouth for 10 minutes or longer, make sure you get it inbetween your teeth gums, etc.. DO NOT GARGLE, and dont SWALLOW.
when your done spit it out..it should be a whiteish, not yellow anymore.
This "pulls" inpurities, and bacteria from your body in a type of "reverse osmosis" system.
You dont wanna swallow it because its full of bacteria and could make you sick, when your done brush your teeth.

Also stay away from refined sugar and MSG right now.
If the pimples are from the Xanax then its from your Hormones being wacked, they need to readjust and "relearn" how to function properly.

If you want some more info feel free to write me, and I can help ya out.

Let me know how its going

The rash looks like pimples all over my face and neck.  They look just like small pimples but they are everywhere on my face and neck which is not normal for me because i do not have acne that bad.  And if i dont take the zanax it seems as if they go away.  i dont know if the rash is froms nerves or from zanax but pretty sure its zanax.

Benzodiazapines can change body hormones, so it could be that.
