anxiety about HIV

Hello all
I'm from China ,i had a sex exposure with received oral sex.in forum HIV MEDHELP Teak and many volunteers told me "no risk for HIV from receiving oral sex".but,i'm still anxiety.

You are writing to us on the Anxiety Forum because Teak has, no doubt, told you numerous times that you had NO RISK, and he has asked you to MOVE ON.

Since you thank "nursegirl" at the end of your post, I know for certain she told you the exact same thing...........probably in a kinder and gentler way than Teak, but the same answer. NO RISK.

And now I, too, will tell you the exact same thing. If your sexual encounter involved only YOU receiving oral, if there was no UNPROTECTED anal or vaginal sex, you had NO RISK.

Perhaps you should avoid using CSWs if this level of fear and paranoia is going to be the result. I recommend you get yourself educated about HIV/AIDS so you will fully understand what is and what isn't safe behavior. If your anxiety continues, avoid sexual encounters for 12 weeks and then get tested.

Please do not PM me regarding this issue.

Many Chinese doctors  said"Oral sex is a high risk "need to a risk.because many  person infection HIV by Oral sex(giving and receiving).this comment is from CDC in China.

This is different from MEDHELP .MEDHELP HIV forum Teak and other moderator said"it is zero risk".

So,i don't know who is right? i'm anxiety everyday.

As long as you are talking about the same action, mouth to genitals or vice versa....theres No RISK..here or in CHINA......but the only way to truly put to rest a an anxiety fear is a test...we can tell you a million times theres no risk , but the nature of anxiety is to constantly question and question and question. This is a sign of anxiety and not HIV risk or infection. Get a test and move on. You were not at risk in any country.

Yes,i'm only received oral sex and kissed from a sex worker in China.after oral sex i found a small cut on my penis.i worried if her mouth blooding at that time.cause infection.

I agree with all the other posters that you have low or no risk of contracting HIV from oral sex.  However I know how having anxiety can lead to you obsessing over these things so I think you should go get tested.

That is the only way you are going to put your mind at ease. In the meantime stop over analyzing things because you are only going to cause yourself endless worry over somethig that is most likely nothing.

Even if you had a cut on your penis that was bleeding and the sex worker had a bleeding cut in her mouth, the virus is incredibly weak and is killed almost instantly by saliva and contact with air. Both of which you find in abundance in your mouth.
There has never been a documented case of HIV from oral sex in this country.
Bottom line remains that you had NO RISK.
If you do continue to worry about this, please go get tested. You must wait three months post your last exposure but the test will be 100% conclusive and you can move on with total peace of mind. I have no idea what you mean that you are "afraid of accidents."

But remember you are not at risk till there is no blood to blood or semen to blood or vaginal fluid to blood or vaginal fluid to semen contact. Thank you.

You had no risk and your test will be negative. But hiding your head in the sand will only create more fear on your part. If you were to test postive, the virus would have been detected early and you would be put on medications that allow you to live a normal, healthy life.
It's scary, I understand that, but I can't believe you'd rather not know and get help!
Then, instead of being part of the solution, you'd be part of the problem.
But the fact that you had NO RISK has not changed. Take the test at 12 weeks for your own peace of mind.

I asked NingboCDC ,clear told me"Oral sex have a risk,must get test"so i'm very funk.

But in Medhelp.many person told me"no risk for HIV from oral sex".

I also read Expert forum(DR.HHH and DR.HOOK),they think oral sex is very low risk but not 0 risk.Sometime they said"very low risk"and sometime they said"close to zero"and sometime they said"oral sex is safe sex"

However,i asked NingboCDC"why is a risk for oral sex?" answer"because have body fluid mutually swap "oh my god,CDC perfunctory me.
