anxiety and high blood pressure question

Do they go together?Will anxiety feel the same as HBP?

I've been told by my doctor that anxiety can raise blood pressure. And I have a fear of doctors,so when my bp is checked at a doctors office,it is elevated. Not always,but most of the time. So he told me to get a home moniter and check it here.When I do it is fine.
What are your symtoms?

Anxiety can raise your blood pressure.  Hypertension rarely has any symptoms....so I'm not sure what you are feeling.
