anxiety and immunization

I went to a new Doc for getting immunization, but they gave me anxiety pills, after observing some anxiety issues within me.. I do not know that its that bad shape..that I was given pills. But what other thing suprises me ...is why did they did not give me Hep and Infuenza vaccination.  Any ideas ??

That sounds really wierd to me. Even if you do have anxiety, you should still be immunized. Did you ask the doc? Wow! Good luck! Love...

I stopped taking buspirone for about a week before i got Influenze vaccination.  I got dizzy, heart racing and confusion right after the shot and it lasts for a few hours.   So i still dont know whether anxiety caused that or not..........One of the nurses said, "maybe it's because my sugar level was low"...but i dont know....I was not that hungry though.

I wouldn't think you should get a Hepatitis-B vaccination, either,  Bacterial pnemonia (pneumonia), maybe, but not Hepatitis.  They might have just forgotten to give you your flu vaccination after they saw how anxious you were.  Why didn't you ask them?  You can get flu vaccinations at many pharmacies.

I'm on Lexapro and got the flu shot last week from my Dr. I feel fine!

My doc did not recommend any vaccination. I asked him if I need them. I need to talk to him again.

Doctor told me to buy vaccination, if you need it.....I bought it as per his prescription ($$$$) ..and it is in my refrigirator now.
