anxiety cycle

ok so i have just been able to form a pattern of how my anxiety happens
i wake up and im anxious and feel like im going to have a panic attack
within 5 mins that wears off and then i start to feel severely depersonalized
that feeling lasts for the day but gradually gets better
then in the evening i tend to feel 'real' again but extremely tense
that usually wears off before i go to bed
does this sound familiar to anyone?

Hi,
I have personally not had such issues in the same way as you maybe feeling them. Anxiety effects people differently, but I am sure your not alone on this and I am sure others out there somewhere is probably facing or has face similar issues as you. Try to hang in there as anxiety attack or side effects are hard to live with and can very hard to deal with.

Question;

Do you have breathing issues?

Do you have light headiness?

Do you have chest pain (as though your having a heart attack pain)?

Have you been to a doctor to have yourself check out?

hii,
only issues i get there is light headedness and yes iv been to see a doctor and he seems to think my anxiety is going away on its on, the anxiety itself seems to be but the depersonalization sticks around....im beginning to wonder if i have depersonalization disorder

I would suggest going to talking to a psychiatrist just in case there maybe something more deep going on. Sometimes we don't know what is causing the depression or attacks they just hit us out of no where. Talking to someone could help you out. Medication could be an option as well. However, like anything else, you have to weight out the risk with the benefits

Hi..

Is there anything you can think of that deep down, is troubling/upsetting/frightening you ? Or does the depersonalization happen at a specific time or place? I used to have /get depersonalization when I was fearing something , like for instance, a couple years ago, when i first started experiencing anxiety, I would feel "spacey" at a restaurant occasionally..it was like I felt trapped , in that I didn't want to feel that way in front of anyone...I know realize I was distorting my reality..(literally fearing something, or not feeling like i had my head around something/or control of it) It takes time, but really letting go of control helps; i can get much calmer and see things clearly if I just realize what i'm doing is fear-related..and I KNOW fear is not the truth..i remind myself i am subconsciously distorting things, and say, "What is really going on around me? Oh! Things are fine , and things can be calm..its all my perspective..I am overthinking, and overreacting." When I notice this, I do often see that it was me getting worked up in my mind, and then I let go, and when I am CALM and seeing my reality and things around me for what they really are, I actually feel more in control (than when I was trying to manipulate /control my environment by fearing something)
I don't know if that was way too long..i apologize! I just know feeling that way is so freaky at first, but in time, you realize, geesh, i wanna just be free/let go, and be calm and happy with my time and my day....not sure if any of that may have helped u..Do you feel tense about specific things?  i know its good to talk and tell each other tips (whether they might work or not; but hopefully work!) hope to talk to ya again....and good luck:)
