anxiety highest in the morning

Hey all
does anyone else feel their axiety is highest in the morning? I feel mine is. I started lexapro 2 weeks ago 5 mg the first week and now on 10 mg. i also take klonopin 05 mg in the am and the script says 2  05 mg at night but i dont take the klonopin at night cause i dont feel i need it. any input would be great

Hi,  I too take 2 klonopin at night, it helps with sleeping and morning anxiety.  This would help you with your morning anxiety, as you morning dose has worn off by then.
Once your Lexapro reaches a therapeutic level, that will also help.  This will take 4-6 weeks.  Hope this helps and take care!

thanks alot it does help! i will start taking the klonopin at night too like prescribed so it stays at a theraputic level?

Yes, that's exactly what it does. By the time you go to bed, your morning dose has worn off, so your anxiety returns.  It's made a world of difference with me, and I think it will with you as well!
