anxiety related? *really desperate

hello I'm a guy that is 16 years old a good healthy history I'm a active person, my family health history is all good as well.. this all started out of nowhere like if it was just yesterday December 20 2011 i was sitting in my couch watching TV and out of nowhere i got lightheaded my chest felt heavy especially on ma left side felt pressure and shortness of breath like if i was going to faint i drank a lot of water i told my mom and she rushed me to the emergency room i got my blood tested chest x-ray done and an EKG everything came out good they said it was nothing the next 2 days i went to my doctor and they checked on my heart beating and breathing everything came out good as well... but since that day i be getting the same symptoms but it only happens when I'm relaxed i go to school i feel fine there.. every time it happens i think that I'm dying i always get so scared so i don't know what to do anymore what can I do?

This does sound like it could be anxiety related. That is how my panic attacks started up this time (I have always had them, but only over certain things). I would just be sitting on the couch when the feelings would come over me. I went to my doctor and then performed some tests, all being normal. I am on anxiety meds now and waiting for relief. I am still not convience that something medically isn't contributing. Go to your doctor and discuss all that you are feeling. Make sure they are not looking over anything. Good luck!

since you're only 16 years old, you may want to talk about this with your parents and let them know that after doing research, you think it may be related to anxiety. that way they can take you to go see a doctor about it that will be able to help you a little more

I'm actually going again to my doctor tomorrow to see the x-ray and ekg results i hope everything came out good
