How long were you taking Ativan, and did you quit abruptly or taper down? What you're feeling could be the klonopin, but it might be the sudden cessation of the Ativan. And while all benzos are addictive, klonopin seems to be less prone to lead to becoming tolerant and needing to up the dosage regularly.
Klonopin is for a longer lasting effect. Normally dosed out twice a day to cover the full day. Like all benzos, once you start taking it, never just stop taking it. As for the way you feel? Might be a come down from the ativan. If you are asking me, and I am not a doctor, Klonopin is better for people who suffer from anxiety 24/7. The other tablet was just a quick fix. Kicked it fast and wouldn't last as long. Having said that, the klonopin is not a fast acting tablet. Needs a bit of time to build up in your system before you may feel the full effect of it. As in days. So you may feel off for a few days. Then the klonopin will kick in. Then you can let us all know how you feel.
it can be addicting. are you not taking anything else? i mean really benzo's work best when used as needed.
Is this normal though because I just started it 2day n I already felt weakness n stuff
