Having undergone two emergency sections myself, I know only too well the anxiety that surrounds that decision. Once they make the call that the baby has to get out of there NOW, all hell breaks lose and nobody has much time to talk to you and explain what's going on. It can be a very terrifying experience.
I don't understand how the anxiety was transposed from the operating room to social situations or travelling in a car, but anxiety is a strange malady and where, (and WHEN or WHY) it strikes doesn't always make sense to us.
Are you actually having an anxiety attack when you feel this extreme weakness and jittery-ness in your legs and arms? Or is the weakness/jittery feeling making you feel the anxiousness? Kind of a "chicken or the egg" question.
It could very well be just another nasty manifestation of your anxiety, but I think, for your peace of mind, you should speak with your doctor about this since, as you state, it has completely taken over your life. When anxiety gets to THAT point, it's time to take some very serious action!
Let us know what you find out, OK?
Peace
