why is it when i take 1/2 of 0.5 klonopin every 7 hours i get anxiety in between my next dose. should i just take the whole pill every 8 hours as needed im confused autume

Since this is a controled medication, you will need to get permission from you Dr. , so you will have enough for the increase. I can tell you from my experience that I had to increase to 1 mg twice a day from .05 mg twice a day. Plus I take 2 mg at night for sleep.My Dr. told me that 6 mg is the highest he is comfortable going up to.
