any one else have this symptom

hi every one ,

i am 21 years old. this symptom also happened to me 2 years ago after a big anxiety episode over hiv. well about 3 weeks ago i started having severe hypochondria anxiety over a brain tumor it was the worst i ever had, worse than the hiv one. well i am now in my more mild stage were i am eating and sleeping normally but i still think about it. but last night it started with tension in the left side of my neck, so i cracked my neck thinking it would help. well it didnt i ended up with horrible pain in my left face and eye, just on that side. it hurt so bad that when it went away i went right to sleep because it stressed me out so bad. but i do remeber getting the same pain 2 years ago because i remember i was on the floor because my eye hurt so bad. i dont remember how it started but i know i was in a mild stage of my hiv anxiety them, and now i am in the same stage with my brain tumor anxiety.

has anyone else expeirenced this one time horrible pain that feels like someone is pulling your eye out. again this is only the second time that this has happened to me and that last time it happened was two years ago when i was in the same position with my anxiety..

so can anyone relate to my experience???

I had a similar experience recently. . .my anxiety started after an episode of chest pain sent me to the ER.  They found nothing wrong with my heart, but the fear I had in the days preceding the ER visit was so intense--I was afraid to go to sleep at night for fear I wouldn't wake up.

Though it felt good to have the chest pain diagnosed as non-cardiac, the fear stayed.  I developed severe head pain that felt like something was trying to tear out of my skull on the left side.  This went on daily for almost 3 weeks.  Once again, I went to the ER and had a CAT scan, which found nothing abnormal.

It's amazing just how intense anxiety can become and how much it can take over your body.

Yes, that is the feeling exactly..like someone is ripping your eye out of your head....For me, it was extreme tension headaches and it must be the same for you.  It could also be from cracking your neck....maybe you pulled a nerve?

Anxiety will grab onto just about everything it can...I did the HIV and the brain tumor route also....It is a sneaky disease that will sneak into your life whenever it can...

Positive thinking and other exercises are your only defense...and medication if your doctor feels it would benefit you.

Hang in there...I am glad that you know that your brain tumor is stress related....I had to have a CAT scan and an MRI before the doctors could convince me!
