its just going to take a while to tell my mind theres nothing wrong,
but inside i know that.

Dizziness upon standing is more of a change in blood pressure and nothing to do with a brain tumour and anxiety can cause blood pressure changes, it's all to do with blood being diverted to needed areas for the fight or flight response.

Headaches are a result of stress, i too have severe pressure headaches where i feel my head is being crushed in a vice and as a friend of someone who has a brain tumour, trust me on this, from what u have said it doesn't sound like you have one....very much anxiety.

Hi, i'm sorry your still having problems and am still not convinced it's all anxiety.  I think due to you still being severely stressed you really do need to see a professional.  I don't mean neurologist for your brain tumour issue but a psychiatrist. You have had numerous tests done now that have all come back fine, you have had a tremendous amount of stress over a short space of time and it is taking it's toll, like i explained b4.

You need to be in some kind of therapy.  Either go see your school counsilor or go see ur family doc who will be able to refer you to a psychotherapist.

For everything you wrote in your last post!

I am concerned for your emotional state of mind.

I am concerned when you tell me you've felt dizzy for four days straight.

I am concerned when you tell me you have felt "unreal" for four days.

I am concerned when you tell me that even typing has become difficult.

I really do not mean to scare you, and these symptoms are most likely all related to anxiety, but they could also mean other things as well. Most of them aren't horrible things..........but only a doctor can rule anything in or out.
That you are feeling scared is the biggest reason I want you to see a doctor.
:(
:(
That you ended your post with two very unhappy faces concerns me.
I just want you to feel better and I don't think you will until you know what's going on with you. And for that, you need to see a doctor.
Please?
For me?
Peace
Greenlydia

Whomever you live with Bradyman, it's time to talk to them about what's going on with you, and that you REALLY want/need to see a doctor! I can't tell you that it's "normal" to feel the way you do for four days straight. But it seems very apparent to me that you've reached a stage where you can no longer cope with the symptoms and feelings you are experiencing, and that means it's time to DO something about it NOW!
If your parent(s) will not listen to you, go to a trusted adult at your school and tell THEM what's going on! Print this entire post out and show it to them...........that might make it easier for you than trying to explain it all again.
But PLEASE find someone you can talk to about this and who can help you.
Let us know how you're doing, OK? We are always here for you, Sweetie, but we can't get you to the doctors office!
Peace
Greenlydia

For someone so young, you've been through a great deal of stressful situations. I'm very sorry you've had to walk a path that does, indeed, suck.
But you have your answer about WHY you have anxiety.
Your question though, is why did it manifest itself now rather then during all the really bad stuff. The answer is pretty simple. When we are experiencing bad things, going through really tough times, our minds are focused on those issues, our energy is being spent just coping with everything that is being thrown at us. In your case I would imagine that there was a huge amount of fear, sadness, incredible uncertainty, anger, resentment, depression, lonliness and probably some guilt......and all those feelings turned into a massive emotional storm that you were simply not prepared to handle at that time. (I'm guessing that these events transpired at least a year or two ago?) If so, you would have been even more vulnerable emotionally than you are now.

You could look at it as a form of PTSD. (post traumatic stress disorder) Think of our troops in the Midle East who live through a hell you and I can't even begin to imagine. You can bet they are terrified, but they can't deal with that emotion then, they are too busy trying to stay alive. All that fear, the horrors they must see every day, the loss of close friends........all those feelings must be be pushed to the backs of their minds to protect themselves and their fellow soldiers TODAY. The grieving must wait. The horrors must be closed off, the fear must not be allowed to control them.
So they come home and feel OK for awhile, but slowly, all those things they have repressed, begin to surface. These people then find themselves in an overwhelming emotional and mental crisis.
This, in a way, is what is happening to you now. You survived the storms of the divorce, the cancer, the loss of your relationship with your dad, moms new boyfriend, and you did that by pushing your feelings deeper and deeper into your mind. But things have now, perhaps, hopefully.........settled down a bit? Which, in my example above, is an analogy of where you are now. Everything is coming to the surface. Anxiety doesn't care if we're ready or not..........nobody is EVER ready for the destruction that comes with it. You wrote that you are now in high school. At the age of 14, that is quite remarkable and I'm impressed. Starting high school is a very stressful transtion for most of us and could easily have been the trigger for your anxiety. It's not fair, but I'm sure by now you've been told that life never is. We all have to play the cards we're dealt the best we can.
I realize I've taken a very long route to answer your quesiton and I'm not even sure I have. It is very common for anxiety to lay in wait, sometimes for a great many years before it rears it's ugly head.
Something quite horrible happened to me between the ages of 5-11. I was in my twenties when the panic hit hard and I had to fianlly face what I had kept locked away. Years if therapy and various meds have put Humpty-Dumpty together again, but I will forever have "cracks." I have PTSD which manifests with sever panic disorder, which I keep at bay with meds.
Not sure why I told you that, perhaps because in some ways I think you're lucky that you're anxiety has come out of hiding now when you are still young, and the pain is still fresh.
I strongly urge you to see a therapist who deals with young people. You need to get all of this out in the open with someone who can guide you in putting it into perspective, who can teach you how to overcome it and move on.
I get the feeling that going to your parents is out of the question, so plese refer back to my suggestions of other's you could turn to to get the help you need and obviously, want.
I hope the fear of a brain tumor has been seen for what it is............avoidance of the real issues in your life. If you can put all your fear into thinking you have a brain tumor, blaming that for all the symptoms of anxiety, then you don't have to deal with the past. But it is the past that has control over you now............so you must go back there and deal with it before you can move on.
You are, without a doubt, highly intelligent. Now put that intelligence to work in a positive way and get your life back. Do whatever you must to get the help you need. If you do that, I will promise that you'll get better. I did.
Just remember that we are always here and if you want to talk privately, just send me a PM, OK?
You CAN beat this and I know you will.
Warmly and with peace,
Greenlydia

No one on this forum can "promise" you that you don't have a brain tumor. Only a doctor, specifically, a neurologist, could make that promise to you. But I will state, rather boldly, that it is EXTREMELY unlikely that you have a BT. What you are describing is classic anxiety.
You saw your doctor and I'm going to assume you told him/her ALL of your symptoms as well as your fear of having a brain tumor. They did a physical and bloodwork. Did you know that all doctors are trained to look for neurological signs that something may be wrong? Ever had a doctor ask you to squeeze their hand or follow a light or something else that seemed fairly simple to you? Those are tests that if you fail, will alert them to search further. I guess you've passed with flying colors, eh?
There are a couple other things, ALONG WITH ANXIETY, that could be causing you to feel the symptoms you describe.......the dizziness, head pressure and headaches. If you don't wear glasses, I would suggest an eye exam. And if you do, it may be time to see if they are still the correct strength. When I was 14 (about a century ago) I also was convinced I had a brain tumor because I had daily headaches, things seemed blurry, lights looked weird and if I was in a crowd of people, I felt really dizzy. Long story short, one day the school nurse found me crying and when I told her what was going on, she did a very simple eye test and sent a note home to my parents telling them to get my eyes checked. Two weeks later I was sporty a very cool pair of glasses and since I could now see the blackboard, (which is what we called them way back then) my headaches vanished as did all the other visual problems. Some of the symptoms you speak of could also be signs of an inner ear infection. That can make you dizzy, your head feel stuffy and many of the other things you describe. When you have symptoms of any kind AND anxiety, it's often a very bad mix. As I said, and as others have said, anxiety can cause many of your symptoms. I know it is very difficult to accept anxiety as the diagnosis when the things you are feeling seem to be so "real." They ARE real, but they aren't being caused by a BRAIN tumor. They are being caused by your MIND. Two entirely different entities.
Let's also stop the bus here and look at your age. You're 14. I'm going to make another assumption here that you've had a health class or two by now. So you've heard about puberty and hormones and how your body is changing big time right now. It is, in fact, in a bit of chaos.
And last, but not least, anxiety USUALLY comes from some external event. (It CAN be internal, but I said "usually external") Did something happen within the recent past that really upset you? Did someone, or something, you love die? Are your parents fighting or on the verge of a divorce? Are either or both of them alcoholics? Does either of them abuse you in any way? Physically, mentally, emotionally? Did your very best friend just move away? Is someone bothering you at school? Are you having trouble with school in general?
If you were MY son, I would want you to talk to me about all these things going on in your mind. Are you able to talk to your parents? Are you close with them? If not, is there another adult you trust? An aunt or uncle, grandparent, teacher, a coach or a priest, minister or rabbi? Almost every school has a therapist on the payroll and you could request to meet with them. Perhaps you could just print out your post and show it to them. They will help you. Go to your parents if you can. They are the ones who love you the most and would do anything to help you. You are too young to be this worried and scared. This should be some of the best years of your life, I hate to see you waste them on anxiety when help is available.
Again, I wish I could "promise" you that you don't have a brain tumor, but I simply can't take on that responsibility. But I'm about 99.9% sure you don't. And I'm about 99.9% sure you have some anxiety going on.
Please find an adult you can talk to about this and get the help you need to stop living in fear.
And for the love of Mike, STOP Googling, (or don't start) all your symptoms! A stupid hang-nail ALWAYS turns out to be a brain tumor!
I hope I have given you some food for thought here, a few other avenues to look down.
And you can always post here if you're freaking out. But YOU have to DO something about this. Take some action. Left alone to fester, it will only get worse. And THAT I CAN promise you.
We are here anytime you need us, OK. Let us know how you're doing!
Peace

I call the lightheaded dizzy stuff the fog. Yes it is anxiety as far as I can tell but I'm no dr.that and the headaches are usually caused by the adrenaline rush anxiety and panic causes. I was younger than you when this started. Counseling really helped me. When you saw the dr did u tell him u were afraid of a brain tumor? If you do he may do tests just to ease your mind then talk to you about your anxiety. I only got dizzy when I stood up or sat down, make sure you tell your dr all your symptoms, it could be anxiety or something simple like you need more vitamins. In any case, tell your parents! You do NOT have to live in fear. There is help.

I agree with anxious09. Talk to your parents. The symptoms you describe don't sound like brain tumor but you need to treat your fear/anxiety.
