Well a doctor would never or should never suggest you take both at night. I would imagine that would have some drastic effects on you. A sleeping tablet is designed to knock you out for a period of time. It can be just as addictive as a benzo. If you were to take them over a long period of time you shouldn't just stop taking sleeping tablets. Just as you shouldn't with benzos. Benzos relax you. But you can continue on your day or evening. They are not designed to knock you out. They might come under similar groupings of tablets. Were there is a difference. One I am not sure of. But if you were thinking of mixing both types I would talk to a doctor first. He may give a sleeping tablet at night and the benzos at morning and afternoon times. Depends on the benzo as was stated above. Klonopin which has about a 12 hour lasting cycle I would imagine would never be given with sleeping tablets. Just a guess though. Because of what might accumilate in your system over the course of a day. May be too much for your body. Or one may make the other more powerful. Play it safe my friend.
