atenolol for anxiety

Hi everyone,

Has anyone had good responses from taking atenolol for generalised anxiety and what were the common side effects if any?

Why would your doctor put you on a beta blocker? Is there something going on with your heart?

hi i take propanalol which is also a beta-blocker for anxiety, it does help it reduces the levels of adrenalin that cause panic attacks, since i have been on them i dont have panic attacks but they havent really helped my health anxiety therapy is best for that.
also i had no side effects and was on the highest dose
