does anyone get palpatations that last for days? i had them for 3 days and im scared i cant remember having them and them lasting so long? i had to go nurse today for a routineRoutine sputum culture injection, i mentioned them to her but she just brushed me off, she took my blood pressurePressure ulcer and told me i was fit as a fiddle, how could she know????
Well, the problem is, your scared. Don't think so negative; it's the anticipation of failing or a fearFears and phobias of failure. Try not doubting yourself, and try not being so much of a people pleaser. Minds never lasted as long as yours, but it scarry. Many doctors arent so experience, and that's why its call a practice...You just try and stay away from sugar, cafine, doubt, and negative thoughts. Find a reason to be happy.
Hi there, yes I get the bumping heart, I had it for months every day it was dreadful, my gp sent me for 2 24hr monitors and they were fine, the doctor told me to cutCuts and puncture wounds out all caffine, I told him I only drank dicafinated but he said it made no diffrence? I stopped all caffine and my heart stopped bumping, I now only get it of and on,

Yes, you can get palpatations for days; especially if you are in a constant state of worry. Remember, as ativan pointed out, she like you have had tests that conclude that the heart is fine. In my experience, you will feel palpatations when you feel for them. When I was really nervous about heart health one of my main complaints was a 'banging heart.' The docs just told me I had a strong heart....and that is a good thing. It is all how you interpret what you are feeling. Quite often we are VERY wrong in the way we interpret symptoms when we are suffering from health anxiety. Keep working at it!
