Again, Dyslexia has a habit of saying things work the same for everyone.  They don't.  Nothing "always" comes to the rescue.  Benzos are a difficult row to hoe because even when they work they only work for awhile, so eventually you end up taking more and more.  That's why if you must be on medication for anxiety and can't solve it any other way, it's best to be on benzos just as needed, not all the time, and use an antidepressant if you can find one that works as your all-the-time remedy.  Best solution is to find a cure through therapy that will change the way you think so you can get off the medication merry-go-round altogether, but that's a whole lot easier said than done!

Sorry, said clonazepam might now work -- meant not, not now.  Oops.

I would never say never -- clonazepam might now work for a given person.  It hasn't done much for me, but i've been kept on it for years because it only works well if taken regularly whereas you can take Lorazepam as needed -- clonazepam takes a while to start working so it is often not useful on an as-needed basis.  So if you only take your lorazepam when you absolutely need it and not every day that would be less likely to become addictive than taking clonazepam daily, as it's usually prescribed.  Of course nobody tells us this usually when we're put on these drugs.  What I think the above meant is it's not usually a good idea to take lorazepam regularly as it's short-acting and gets to tolerance and addiction more quickly but, again, just taking it as needed doesn't do that.

This is the problem with benzos -- they are short-acting, targeting GABA, but when they wear off you're still you.  Antidepressants, on the other hand, keep operating all the time until you stop taking them, though both can be equally difficult to ever stop taking.  The only cure is through therapy, if you can do it; drugs only cover up symptoms, meaning you still have the problem.  No drug will ever make all your problems go away unless they ever find the cause of the problem biologically, and that hasn't happened yet if it ever will; these drugs don't treat the cause of your problem because that hasn't been discovered yet.  So you have better days and worse days.

So your 4mg  is  .75 now in 5 months  , to quick my friend you would be lucky to be stable on 2mg after 5 months ,  what do you take to compensate the loss of you LOZ  I mean you must have took LOZ for anxiety whats taking care of that now you have ditched the LOZ.  just because you wanted to come off LOZ dosent mean you wont be back to square one with the illness again.  FIRST tell me why you wanted off loz , wasn't it helping, tolerance , what reason .  tell me that and I can tell you what you need to know
