blood pressure dropping

by jess990, Nov 22, 2008 05:39PM
Is it normal for your blood pressure to drop a bit when you go from sitting to standing? I know your heart rate is supposed to go up but my blood pressure drops a few points to.

It is normal for your blood pressure to go up and down depending on your activity.  Your blood pressure can change just from laying down on one side and moving to the other.  If it is just several points, do not worry and don't obsess about it.  Since you mentioned that you have already had your heart checked and all was well...then I wouldn't dwell on it.
