hello to all of you nice people...
I know I am a bit of an obcessive compulsive but i need some help with my symptoms!!
Has anyone outthere ever expirenced weightloss with their anxiety while eating more? My weightloss is very starnge it seems it is only in my legs face and arms. My face has lost all of it's firmness and the skin kind of feels funny like very smooth feeling it's almost like i have no feeling in it anymore. I can pull my skin very far on my face now I don't even look like I did 6 months ago.I also have more bowel movements than I use to with undigetsed food present ..(large volume)I have been told it could be my thyroid from some people on here but I don't think so. Can constant worry of something really cause me to lose weight like this? This all started for me when I had a bout of HIV anxiety back in May. I was slowly losing weight back then but I was trying to with cutting back on my food a little as well as some minor exercising.But around that time I had a sexual episode with a girl and then thought to myself my god what if I just gave her HIV!!! I started researching everything on the internet like a mad man. I had exposure roughly 10 years ago or so I thought anyways and a doctor once told me that HIV caused swollen lymphnodes...and i have had an enlarged node in right groin area for approximately 10 years , not huge and visible but slighlty enlarged only. I am rambling but just wanted to inform you all of my scenario. I couldn't take it anymore so I decided to go and get tested in June of this year. I developed numerous eye floaters as well as this strange weightloss with anxiety. Below is a list of tests run by the doctor as well as notes he had written. I am going on 6 months with this constant fear in my mind and am having trouble believing my symptoms are anxiety related.I think I actually have HIV related wasting syndrome....my god I hate my life right now.

there is all of my lab tests and their results....so someone please tell me....if all this is normal why is the skin in my face losing fat ang getting saggy and loss of sensation? why the malabsorption in my bowel movements? why the eye floaters? why the weight loss with no diet change? is this really all just due to my constant fear of thinking i have HIV? is this what they call anxiety?

has anyone else outthere expierenced this with anxiety induced weight loss?
my face is not numb or tingly...it just feels very soft and loose! when I shave I can't even feel the razor on my skin, I can a little but not much.why is my body eating away at all my fat and muscle in certain areas? why am I having 3 or 4 bowel movements a day that are quite large and loose? help me please...I want to understand what is going on

I am too afraid to go to the doctor again..is it normal for your facial skin to become thin when you lose roughly 15 pounds? I think the loss of sensation is because I only have skin on my face and no muscle or fat, I have large longe dimples now within a period of 6 months, very odd if you ask me.

It sounds like to me that you have a major anxiety disorder.  If you are living in that much fear you can loose weight even though you are eating normal.  I was obsessed that I have ovarian cancer and sure enough, even though I was eating I was dropping the weight.  As soon as I realized that I was not dying of ovarian cancer my weight loss stopped.  Anxiety has an incredible effect on the body, your strange feeling or lack of feeling in your face sounds like anxiety also.  I had numbness and tingling over my whole body for years and it didn't go away until a neurologist told me that my MRI was normal, suddenly my symptoms disappeared.  You need to talk with your doctor about this, once these symptoms go away your body will probably produce another symptom.  You need to get down to the bottom of your fears.
