Does anyone through out the day ever get a burning feeling in hands and feet when they are anxious? It only happens for a second then goes away.

Hi,

My "burning sensation" is normally around my head (feels like a tight band) and sometimes on my face. I've never had the burning in feet and hands.

Thanks.

Sometimes, yes.  Other times it is a low-grade buzzing in my feet.

Yes, I have been getting burning hands sometimes into my arms, which was recently diagnosed as a symptom of anxiety.  A few times the burning has escalated into a panic attack, then includes more burning sensation down my groin and legs to my feet, with rapid/heavy heartrate, and tightness in my chest.  Have been to the ER four times in the past few weeks, convinced it was my heart, but tests come back normal.  I am now on meds for anxiety, and find adominal (abdominal) (belly) breathing helpful.  Also, the Anxiety & Phobia Workbook has been very informative and comforting.
