burning tongue

i had a brother die from als ...i have had muscle twitches for about a yr. and a half now...it all started after my calfs started hurting really bad so of course i looked it up on the internet and it went right to als..well then i was convinced i had it because my brother had it...i started looking on the internet all the time and came up the conclusion that im dead meat..a couple of weeks later my tongue started burning and still does to this day off and on...it looks red and burns when i eat something hot or spicey...it also looks swollen to me..it just looks big...i also have dry mouth at night and my tongue is stuck to the roof of my mouth..i wonder if its because its bigger and i push it up there,,i can see teeth marks around the side(another symtom of als)..anyway my tongue doesnt really burn in the morning just as the day goes on...my muscles ache..i have tennis elbow now..the bottom of my feet feel like theres rapid fire impulses on them once in awhile...im wondering if my nerves are shot...the muscle twitches started in the calfs when i would flex them which hurt like hell then after i saw that i knew i had als..then the twitches went to my back..feet..arms..neck..just about everywhere..some were thumpers..some lasted 5 seconds some stayed in the same place off and on...the ones around the eyes lasted along time and are still around..if i squeeze them real tight they will twitch for awhile...im a high anxiety person..i always think the worse and always go for the doomsday disease..my question is could this all be from anxiety or am i toast.

i also have a low thyroid i guess and feel like a lump in my throat
