can i take them at night

i took my first citalopram 20mg tablet yesterday i felt sleepy dizzy when i stood up, and felt like i wanted to be sick this lasted all daymy doctor said that i should take them in the morning but after how i felt yesterday i think i should take them at night which is what i am going to do tonight can some one tell me would it make any diffarance weather i take them by day or by night many thanks from julie

It really depends on the person.  Some prefer taking this type of med in the morning while others prefer to take it at night.  Remember, in my experience, when you start an SSRI like Citalopram, it can take a little while for your body to become adjusted to it.  I actually  prefer to take it at night, but I know people that take it in the morning...keep us posted with this and let us know if you have any more questions!
