can you become allergic to Benzos

hi I have been on xanax ativan and klonopin for 20 years(not all at same time) lately after taking my klonopin my eyes itch and my cheeks burn Can you become allergic after all thses years?

Have you changed brands recently?  I know different generics can have different fillers that some people are allergic to...also, could it have been something you ate, drank, touched, etc?  Allergies are a weird nut to crack sometimes..keep us posted!

Could you be perimenopausal or actually going through menopause?  It can cause dry eyes and those hot flashes can be only in your face.  My eyes itched so bad and I use a plain eye lubricant.  As for the burning face I take soy, but I still get flashes all the time.
