cant breathe

I suffer with really bad anxiety,ive just cone to my neighbours which im finding really hard,i feel really tight chested and like i cant breathe,i no that i can because i am breathing normally but it feels like im gasping/struggling for breathe,i feel really dizzy and like i need to rush back home,but i have been told not to do that as it will only make things worse,i just need some support please im scared

You are probably having a panic attack, I had one a few months ago and they are very scary.  Are these your symptoms..if you have no other known medical conditions that might be a cause for your difficulty in breathing, I would not worry.

    Feeling weak, faint, or dizzy
    Tingling or numbness in the hands and fingers
    Sense of terror, of impending doom or death
    Feeling sweaty or having chills
    Chest pains
    Breathing difficulties
    Feeling a loss of control

If it is a panic attack it will pass! How are you doing now as it has been 5 hrs since you posted??

Thanks for your reply,its like a rollercoaster comes and goes its made worse by going out,i felt really dizzy and like i needed to escape,i feel ok for the minute but how long it will last i dont no

I just talked to my dr. about this at my physical. She said to keep a smallish brown paper sack near to breathe thru.  It balances the carbon monoxide that will get back into our lungs.  Will keep me from passing out,  I knew this, just forgot!
