clonazepam in pregnancy

Hi ,
I was using Clonozapem 0.5mg few months back and stopped it .
I got conceived now and I ve abt 6 weeks prgnancy now.I think I used clonozapem 0.5mg 3-4 times in this month .
Also I had alcholhol before that.Would that effect foetus.If so wat could be the problems.Kindly help me if I can continue with my pregnancy.

It sounds like you and your baby will be fine.  I have not read any birth defects from klonopin and you have only taken it a few times.  I definitely wouldn't take any more!  The anti-depressants are the ones that you have to watch that cause birth defects.

Don't worry about a few drinks you had....just stop now.  

I am not a doctor at all...so PLEASE consult a doctor about your pregnancy and your fears...

You should not be taking clonazepam while you are pregnant, not only can it effect the fetus. Your baby could come out dependent on the medicine and go through withdraws.
