clonazepam reduction

im trying to ween off my clonazepam i take 2mg a day for ptsd,i read you have to reduce .125 every three days.my question is how much is .125 of 2 mg could someone help me with this answer ty.

thanx for the response i will try and see if that works ive only been on it about 2 yeras when i came back from iraq my doc thought it would help with ptsd and nightmares but im afraid of becoming dependent on it

1.875. /if you are trying to reduce by yourself, this will be impossible to cut the pill this size. With Clonazepam, I feel safe to tell you that decreasing doses by 0.25mg every 3 days is ok. This is doable in pill cutting. If 3 days seems too soon, I would say you could prolong that to your comfort. Just be sure to not stop this medication entirely at once, as that can cause problems.And if you've been on this for a long time, say years, I wouldn't hesitate to consult a doctor about dose reductions and to make sure you remain stable in the process.
