constant thoughts

I am a 27 year old male. I everyday many times a day i have bad thought going through my mind. At work, at home it doesn't matter where. Thoughts ranging from, Im going to die, to always thinking things are going to go bad that i need to keep confirming it stays right, Thinking my Family is against me or there talking bad about me, or I am a loser that only makes $14 hour and barley can support my 3 kids and wife. The thoughts are getting in the way of my life that its effecting me huge now. Sometimes i dont talk to my dad, brothers, mom for months cause i think they all just talk bad about me or think bad about me. They all live close together as im the only one far away from family so maybe that has something to do. I have had thoughts when a little kid that i hated myself so maybe it rooted from then. All my life i have been very active in sports and just kinda tryed to ignore the thoughts growing up so it didn't effect me as much then like it is now. I never really thought of any mental problem b4 untill my wife mentioned OCD or anxiety, so thats why im writing. Does this sound like OCD or just a bad case of anxiety problem and is it possible that it can cause physical symptoms?

Thanks and appreciate any answers

Regards

Anxiety can cause your symptoms as well as physical problems.  But you need to see a professional for a diagnosis.  It sounds like you are lacking self-esteem, this and  all your other symptoms can be worked out with therapy.  It sounds like you are very hard on yourself, be happy you have a decent job, many have lost their jobs and are unable to provide at all for their family. Often obcessive worry, paranoia and lack of self-esteem results from something that happened in our past.  Something we either never dealt with or have tried to forget.  I would see a psychiatrist and the two of you decide what course of treatment best suits you......therapy.....medication or both.  There is so much help for you, and you needn't feel this way.  I hope you do seek help so you can have the happy life you deserve and want.  I wish you all the best and take care!

IMHO, it does sound like anxiety, paranoia, a little obessive-compulsive.

Anxiety, panic, depression, etc. can be caused by a magnesium deficiency.  It is essential for handling stress, as are the B Complex Vitamins.

Some of the safest and most effective forms of magnesium include: Taurate, Glycinate, and Citrate (latter can be laxitative -- take with food).

Dr. Leaf on the internet talks about negative thinking and getting out of that.  You should work on having positive thoughts, even with councelling.

Blessings.
