constantly have to eat

For the last week or so I have felt like I have to stay with food in my mouth.  I wake up in the middle of the night because I am shaky and lightheaded so much I cant sleep untill I eat.  I am the same way during the day, I can not work more than 30 minutes with out needing to eat.  I am hypoglycemic but I have never felt like this.  Every time I go to the dr they say I have low blood sugar and I am like duh? but I should not have to eat 24/7.  I am not over weight I am 5 ft and weigh 110 and I try to eat very good but when I get dizzy I usually grab what I can.  No sweets ever though, they make me feel worse.  Does anyone know what this means?

Are you under the care of an Endocrinologist for this?  Normally this is caused by something within the endocrine system causing you to be hypoglycemic.  Diabetes can also cause your symtpoms....have they checked you for this?  Yes, you are hypoglycemic but the cause needs to be addressed, as this can lead to more serious issues.  I would see an Endo and get a thorough work-up and go from there.  This isn't something you want to let go untreated.  Best wishes.
