could i have anxiety or could it be something worse?

I have been having chest pains for almost a month now. I have been to the doctor and they did an EKG and a x-ray on my chest and abdomen and did not find anything wrong, they also did lots of blood work and all they found was that my phosphate level was really low and that i was really constipated.

Besides the chest pains i have also been suffering from very strange symptoms that range from body pains and numbness pretty much anywhere in my body from my arms to legs to my back or even my head feels numb sometimes, i have been very dizzy a lot of days and my vision seems to be blurry or just something seems wrong with my vision its kind of hard to describe, sometimes it feels like my chest is really tight and i can barely breathe.

The doctor at first thought that i might have been suffering from acid reflux but after taking acid reflux mediine for awhile but the medicine didnt seem to help any so they pretty much ruled that out. And now they are just telling me its anxiety. I want to believe thats what it is because i dont want something to be wrong with me, but its hard to think that anxiety would actually be causing all of this pain in my body espcially because i never have been a very anxious person.

I have done some research and i found that fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis both kind of match with my symptoms as well as anxiety. Do you think that this is just anxiety or could it be something else or what? I need some opinions please!

:)

Hey how's it going?  I experience alot of the same symptoms as you do. Dizziness, blurry/sensitive vision, slight chest pain, tightness in chest, feeling weak and tired, foggy minded etc.  I actually came across a forum on this site where there are TONS of people going through the same thing.  You should be able to find it through my profile if you like.  Anyways, alot of people contributed their symptoms to anxiety/panic attacks.  Another theory that I plan on checking into is "candida overgrowth".  There are alot of posts on that forum that explain more about it.  It causes many of the symptoms that you just listed, and seems to be easily treatable.  It has also been linked to MS, which is interesting since you said you can relate to the symptoms of MS. I'm not a doctor by any means haha, but I think it's worth checking into.  I wish you the best of luck and hope things get better for you! Keep us posted!
