dizzy and vertigo

hiya ive been sufering anxiety for a few years now and latley been having a few head ache which the doc told me it was tmj but ive noticed  that when theres loads of light cuming in the windows or when im outside i go dizzy and feel abit of vertigo when walking so i normaly put on sun glasses even if  it aint sunny does anyone else get this senstive light thing pls help as im quite concernd thanx

Yes I feel that to I have been suffering from anxiety since I had my son but it just recently got worse I started Ciplralex which helps but my head feels funny sometimes and when I go outside sometimes I feel worse. Probably the meds I am going to metion it to my Dr next time I go. Good luck.

Hi there, I suffer from anxiety disorder as well... I feel dizzy quite often when I'm feeling anxious. I found this to be a pretty standard side effect when doing some research. I also feel overwhelmed by loud sounds (especially base) and bright lights. I almost feel as though it's too much for my brain to process or something...thus causing me to feel dizzy or like I may pass out.
I know that TMJ can cause migraines and although you may not get the terrible headache, it can definitely make you dizzy and cause light sensitivity. You may want to talk to your doctor about it, they may be able to prescribe you something...
