dizzy question

For the past few weeks I've been feeling dizzy and lightheaded pretty much everyday and it makes it very difficult for me to concentrate on things.  I also get irritating stomach aches right after eating.  Is this common for anxiety to ALWAYS be lightheaded?  It also feels like part of my head is being squeezed it doesnt hurt as much as it annoys me.

I dont think your doctor or any doctor would recomend a scan if they thought it would harm you, what would be the point of having a scan to see if you have a brain tumor only to find out you dont but the test you are having might give you a tumor i dont think so,go to your doctor ask him what risks if any are cuased by having a scan the only way of finding out what is wrong with you is to have tests to eliminate any physical reason for your syptoms, once you have done that it will give you piece of mind to know one way or another what is wrong with you.Good luck

i heard that a CT scan or an MRI can potentially cause radiation in your brain or something and give you a brain tumor. is that true? if so then im scared of getting any of those tests

I have dizzyness and lightheaded every day i also get tightness across my forehead and pain on the bridge of my nose.I have had a brain scan came back normal, had sinus scan came back normal, had camera up my nose everything looked fine. From what i have read on this forum dizzyness and being lightheaded is a sympton of anxiety, i am not on any medication at the moment because i have to go back to see ent doctor in three weeks time i dont know if i am suffering from anxiety or not but with all the tests coming back normal perhaps i am, i dont think there are any more tests they can do i would be greatful if any one out there who knows of any more tests i could have.If i was you CJ40689 I would go to your doctor and get checked out and if all the tests come back normal then you like myself may be suffering from anxiety.i wish you luck and hope you feel better soon.

If it really bothers you push for a CT scan to rule anything sinister out.
I do not know where you live if they are covered by your medical.

yeah my doctor doesnt seemed too worried but im a littlw worried about it because i really hope its not the beginning of a brain tumor.  i used to take nitric oxide supplements for my workouts at a low dosage for a few years and ive been reading they can cause brain tumors but i dont know what to believe if thats true then they wouldnt be at every local gnc or vitamin shoppe right?

i get the dizzyness and lightheaded feeling alot. i do think it's very common for this to happen when you have anxiety. but i notice when my allergies are acting up this happens more often. it could be that, or if your taking meds it could be that too. have you asked your dr. about this yet? take care. remar
