do melting pills under tongue get into system faster?

I ask because when my anxiety comes on its so quick and was wondering if I could bypass the whole half hour wait period? Also, anyone know if it bypasses the liver that way?

yes.. not sure about the particular drug though.. my endo told me to place my meds under my tounge.. and he did say because it works better... and faster.. you can do it between the cheek as well.. however... make sure its ok.. because they might not want you to take certain drugs that way.. as it might be bad to have it enter your body that fast... not sure about hte liver thing..lol

thanks you guys. i tried putting two vals under my tongue last night and they were taking forever to dissolve so i started chewing them up. which started me a-gaggin'. wont be doing that again! :D
