That can be a tricky question.  In my opinion, I am a proponent of these medications, but they will not 'cure' you of anything....I tend to think of them as a useful tool while you learn about your anxiety through the consultation of a professional (i.e. a counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, etc).  The old saying, "knowledge is power...," is really applicable in this case in my experience with this.  By learning the source and confronting it, you can actually THRIVE with this...believe it or not, it can really teach you a lot about life and make you a much more well rounded person...keep those questions coming!
