That is a common feeling with anxiety attacks. Feel as if you're dying, gravely ill, or going insane, or all of the above. A feeling like you want to run but there's nowhere to run. Most of us have probably been there at some time or other.

The thing you have to remember is that those are just thoughts and feelings, and that none of your symptoms are life threatening, just enormously disturbing.

Feel like I am going crazy, like I am going to die, like I will never be normal again......I am having a horrible time with anxiety right now bit I know it doesn't have to be forever.   I had a very bad bout of depression and anxiety about 25 years ago... At the time I thought I would never be normal again.  I got counseling, got on medication and managed to go to college and start my own business.  Something that seemed like the impossible then.  I am 44 now and dealing with this again but am praying that I will make the right decision on treatment.   Hang in there.   This is tough.
